General Policies
All activities and policies are overseen and/or directed by a Board of Directors.
LMHSC, Inc., is not a school. LMHSC, Inc., believes that the role of primary educator, trainer, and motivator of children belongs to the parent.
All policies apply for all LMHSC, Inc., activities and Board trusts that all enrollees will uphold these policies.
Each family must complete an LMHSC, Inc., Enrollment Application and pay corresponding non-refundable enrollment fee.
Board reserves the right to limit or restrict the use of music at LMHSC, Inc., events or activities.
No illegal substances will be allowed at any LMHSC, Inc., activities. Consumption of alcohol is not allowed at any LMHSC, Inc., activities. Bringing anything usually thought of as a weapon is prohibited at all LMHSC, Inc., activities unless specifically required for a group activity, i.e. hunter’s safety class.
In a spirit of deference, consideration must always be given when determining proper type of music and volume. LMHSC, Inc., Board reserves the right to limit or restrict the use of music at LMHSC, Inc., events or activities, as they deem necessary.
Removal. Any enrolled family may be removed from enrollment for cause, notwithstanding, non-payment of fees which shall result in automatic termination of enrollment. Enrollment may be reinstated if full payment, along with late charges of 15% of outstanding balance is paid.
Resignation. Any enrolled family may withdraw by filing a written withdrawal with the Board of Directors, but such withdrawal shall not relieve the enrollee so resigning of the obligation to pay any charges due
Music
Our band and orchestra programs offer beginning and intermediate classes. We have a band program with a full range of instruments: flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, oboe, saxophone and percussion. We also have an orchestra program introducing students to the world of strings through violin, viola, cello and guitar. Read more…
Classes
Muskegon and Rothbury CO-OPs offer weekly classes held in three 8-week sessions throughout the year. Classes range from enrichment to academic at very affordable prices and are available for students in K-12th grades. Classes offered: science labs, art, PE, choir, Spanish, literature studies, etc. Read more…
